Cool little Cafe located on the main strip in Mudgee. - Family friendly - Serve organic juices - They use Toby's Estate coffee - Open Monday - Sat 7am to 5pm & - Sunday 7.30pm - 4pm - Outdoor and Indoor seating - Has a play area for the kids and a sign on the door that welcomes breast feeding mothers. Went in on a Sunday about 9am and there were a lot of empty tables so we sat near the back wall where they have a board of arts and crafts with various different types of puppets on the wall (these are available for purchase if you feel inclined). We got the big breakfast and the poached eggs with bacon and avocado. Coffee was good and so was the food, Also got a freshly squeezed juice for the day which was celery, pineapple and orange - very refreshing way to start the day. By the time we left the place was packed! Overall a good first time experience. Address details can be found here: /mudgee.html

Situated on 620 Crown St, Surry Hills. For $4.50 there is a 3 step process: Step 1: Choose a flavour Step 2: Dunk it (white, milk or dark choclate) Step 3: Top it (with either peanuts, hundreds & thousands, coconut, pretzels, oreo etc) If you are undecided on what to choose you are most welcome to sample the flavours. Combo's we tried: Salted caramel flavour with milk chocolate and coconut Panna cotta with milk chocolate and peanuts Blood orange sorbet with dark chocolate and coconut You get given the stix in a little paper carrier in case you spill it everywhere ;P. All three amazing flavours! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. P.s They only take cash! Opening times can be found here: weebl Heard about this place a lot on Instagram so as usual it was a must visit but of course with life commitments you tend to call in on it months are your initial thought of visiting! We got there 10 minutes to 8am on Saturday (because that's when they open) so of course the place was empty except for the staff which was great coz we got to choose a prime position to sit! I did not realise that the Kitchen was part of the Koskela warehouse where the owners Russel Koskela and Sasha Titchkosky produce "Australian furniture that is beautiful, functional and durable" (taken from their website) .... will you look at that you learn something new everyday! We ordered the Sourdough pancakes with Lemon Curd $14, Big Breakfast $20 and Eggs benedict/royale $13. Everything was back to basics, you order at the counter then take a number and a seat and they bring it out to you. In addition, to the usual breakfast menu they also have pastries/cakes on offer if you are not quite hungry. The cutlery was in an old tomato tin tub which added the rustic look, food was served in tin plates like the kind you take camping. Food was sensational! My eggs benedict came on a bun and all the sauce and the egg oozed out goodness! I scraped the plate...literally! Pancakes were divine. After we had finished breakfast we waiting around till 9am as that was the time Koskela opened so we could peruse the designs. Families and groups are welcome here, Great way to start the weekend! Address details can be found here: weebly This stuff is the breakfast of Champions. Alongside oats :P I generally run out of fresh strawberries, so recently bought some frozen ones so i can have them on hand when i feel like something pink! It was delectable! Definitely makes you remember that summer is just round the corner where there will be hot summer days and warm nights. Lately I have been trying to cut down on the junk food and focusing more on food to fuel my body instead of what my mind wants (e.g. chocolate and other unnecessary junk). So here's to summer, Can't hardly wait! Recipe can be found here weebly Who doesn't like smoothies?! It's like the lazy person's go to breakfast, well for me it is! Plus you can get all the goodness of 2 fruits, coconut butter and Almond milk all in one go! I made this on the weekend and it was de-li-ci-ou-s! I call it the Banana Mango Coconut Colada :D For recipe click here: weebly |
